1 c. shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
4-5 bars SNICKERS®

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream shortening, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. In a separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients. Stir into creamed mixture. Blend well. Slice bars of candy lengthwise, then into 1/4 inch sections and add to mixture.

Drop from a teaspoon 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until brown on the edges. Remove from sheets immediately. Makes approximately 3 dozen.
