INDIAN PUDDING 
6 c. milk, scalded
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 c. molasses
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger or grated lemon rind
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Pour milk on the cornmeal, cook in double boiler 20 minutes, add other ingredients. Pour into buttered baking dish and bake 3 hours in a very slow oven at 250 degrees. Serve warm with cream.
