2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans, chopped
3 apples, chopped (4 or 5, if sm.)

Cream sugar and oil. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Sift flour with soda and salt. Add this to first mixture with apples, vanilla and pecans. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
