STRING BEAN CASSEROLE 
1/3 c. onions
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. sour cream
2 pkgs. frozen French style green beans, cooked
1 c. shredded American cheese

Saute onion in butter. Blend in flour, salt, pepper and sugar. Add sour cream, stirring constantly and cook over low heat until smooth and thickened. Add cooked beans and pour into shallow baking dish. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
