GERMAN POTATO SALAD - I 
3 lbs. potatoes, boiled
1 lb. bacon, browned lightly (save bacon grease)
1 c. celery with leaves, chopped
3/4 c. onions, chopped
6 hard boiled eggs, sliced
6 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. vinegar
3 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed

Slice cooked potatoes into a kettle or crock pot. Add celery, onions, eggs and browned bacon to potatoes. Make dressing by adding flour to bacon fat in frying pan. Stir flour in well. Add vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Boil mixture until thick. Pour over potatoes. Mix well. Serve warm. Sprinkle celery seeds in. Stir.
