1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
1 can refried beans
1 pkg. taco seasoning
2 c. grated Jack cheese
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 jar chunky taco sauce
Chili powder to taste
1 can chilies, diced (hot chilies, if desired)
1 bunch green onions, chopped
Sour cream
Garlic powder to taste

Brown hamburger and chopped onion; drain grease. Add taco seasoning, chili powder and garlic powder (feel free to add any other seasonings you like). Stir thoroughly, add 1/2 cup water and simmer for 5 minutes. Empty refried beans into large glass/metal baking pan and stir in hamburger mixture. Spread evenly in pan, then spread chilies, then cheese, then taco sauce evenly across top of bean mixture. Bake in oven at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Take out and add chopped green onions and sour cream (if desired) to top of bean dip. Serve with chips, vegetables, etc.
