QUICK AND EASY GREEN BEANS 
2 (16 oz.) cans green beans
6 slices bacon
1 tsp. lemon juice (optional)
1/2 c. toasted almonds (optional)

You can substitute 2 pounds fresh, green beans for the 2 cans, if you wish.

Fry bacon in saucepan until crisp. Remove from pan; crumble and set aside.

Add green beans immediately after removing bacon and cook. Return bacon to beans and continue cooking about 15-20 minutes. You may add optional items. Add the lemon juice at the beginning of cooking the beans. Add the toasted almonds to the beans, just before serving.
