ORANGE POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. Crisco
8 eggs
10 tbsp. orange juice
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well. Add 1 cup flour, orange juice and flavoring; beat well. Add remainder of flour. Pour in large pan.

Bake in 325°F oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Topping:

1/2 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. grated orange rind
2/3 c. sugar

I like it better without topping.

Mix orange juice, grated orange rind and sugar. Heat until sugar dissolves. While cake is hot, make holes with ice pick. Pour orange juice over cake.
