1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream together butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Mix together dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture, mix well. Drop by teaspoonful 2 inches apart on preheated waffle iron. Bake 1 1/2 minutes. Cool on rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Great for Grandma to make with the grandchildren on a rainy day.
