1 lb. sharp NY cheddar cheese
1 lb. butter, softened
3 loaves French bread

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix cheese and butter together in food processor until smooth. Set aside. Remove crust from bread. Cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes. Spread cheese mixture generously to all sides of cube except bottom. Freeze on cookie sheet for one hour, then store in freezer in ziplock until ready to use. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately. Makes 5 dozen. Will last in freezer 2 months.
