WILD RICE AND BARLEY CASSEROLE | |
1/3 c. butter 1 med. onion, diced 4 oz. can mushroom pieces, drained 3 c. chicken stock 1/2 c. uncooked wild rice 1/2 c. uncooked pearl barley Saute onion in butter. In 2 quart casserole, combine all ingredients including onion-butter mixture, blending well. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. This is delicious with a grilled steak or kebabs. |
