ALPHABET SOFT PRETZELS 
1 env. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour
1 beaten egg
Coarse salt

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly grease a cookie sheet. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add salt and sugar. Blend in the flour. Knead the dough until it is smooth. Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls. Roll each ball into a rope and twist into alphabet shape. Place on cookie sheet. Brush top with beaten egg. Sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake immediately for 12-15 minutes.
