BEEF & GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. beef, ground
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. shortening
1 can green beans, drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. chopped pepper
2 oz. American cheese, grated
Bread crumbs

Brown beef and onion in oil or shortening. Combine green beans, soup, milk and mix well. Stir into meat mixture. Add Worcestershire sauce, cheese, green pepper and place in 2 quart casserole. Cover with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
