STRAWBERRIES JUBILEE 
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. arrowroot or cornstarch
1 pt. strawberries, washed and hulled
2 oz. Kirsch
1 qt. vanilla ice cream

Mix the water, sugar and arrowroot. Heat, stirring to a boil and add the strawberries. Return to a boil, stirring enough only to blend. Add the Kirsch and ignite serve the flaming sauce over ice cream.
