PUMPKIN PECAN PIE 
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. plain canned pumpkin
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
2/3 c. corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. pecan halves
1 9-inch pie shell, unbaked

Stir together 1 slightly beaten egg, pumpkin, 1/3 cup sugar and pie spice. Spread over bottom of pie shell. Combine 2 eggs, corn syrup, 1/2 cup sugar, butter and vanilla. Stir in nuts. Spoon over pumpkin mixture in pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until filling is set and pie crust is golden.
