SWEDISH APPLE PIE 
2 c. apple slices, cooked (golden delicious)
1 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell

Peel and core apples and cut into 1/8 inch thick slices. Cook, covered, in 1/4 cup water for 10 to 15 minutes or until tender. Drain and cool, mash slightly and add flour, salt and sugar. Beat egg and vanilla and add to apple mixture. Fold in sour cream. Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Remove and add topping. Return to oven for 15 minutes.

TOPPING:

Combine:

1/3 c. each sugar and flour
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cut in:

1/4 c. butter
