VEGETABLE CASSEROLE 
2 lg. mild onions
4 lg. firm tomatoes
2 c. diced potatoes
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. sliced carrots
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. paprika
4 tbsp. fat

Slice onions and tomatoes about 1/2 inch thick and place in layers in greased casserole with potatoes, celery and carrots. Sprinkle each layer with salt, pepper and paprika. Add fat. Cover and bake in moderate oven at 375°F for 1 hour or until tender.

Serves 6 to 8.
