OLD FASHIONED CUSTARD 
6 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
Ground nutmeg

In a large bowl beat eggs slightly. Pour in milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Beat until well blended. Coat inside of 8 (5 ounce) custard cups with cooking spray. Divide custard mixture into cups, sprinkle with nutmeg. Place cups in a shallow baking pan. Pour in hot water to 1 inch level.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Or until knife comes out clean. Cool to room temperature. To unmold, run tip of knife around edges and place in serving platter.
