CREAM CHEESE SALAD 
FIRST LAYER:

1 sm. pkg. lemon jello
1 c. boiling water
1 lg. pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. powdered sugar
1/2 pt. heavy cream or milk

Mix jello with boiling water. Add softened (room temperature) cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Mix well so that mixture is smooth. Last add heavy cream or milk (layer is not as rich with milk). Place in mold or rectangular pan. Refrigerate until set.

SECOND LAYER:

1 sm. pkg. cherry or lime jello
1 c. boiling water
1 c. drained crushed pineapple
Juice from pineapple plus enough water to make 1 1/2 cups

Mix together well. After first layer has congealed, pour over. Refrigerate until set.
