SWEET DOUGH FOR BUNS 
8 c. flour
2 c. hot tap water
1 c. cold milk
1/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1 egg
1 cake yeast or 3 pkgs. dry yeast
1 stick butter

Put 6 cups flour in one bowl. Make a well. In another bowl add sugar, milk, water, milk, yeast and salt. Let set 5 minutes. Stir well then add egg and butter. Pour mixture into the well. Stir around. Put in remaining 2 cups flour.

Grease a bowl. Put dough in bowl, cover for 1 hour. Grease your pans. Shape dough into buns. Let stand 1 hour. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
