PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
Cake or muffin mix, any flavor
2 (16 oz.) cans fruit cocktail
2 (16 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. instant pudding, any flavor
2 (20 oz.) cans fruit pie filling
2 (12 oz.) containers whipped topping
Coconut, optional
Nuts, optional
Mandarin orange slices, optional
Candy pieces

Prepare cake or muffin mix according to package directions. Drain canned fruit. Prepare pudding mix according to package directions. Crumble cake.

Using clear punch bowl: Layer 1/2 crumbled cake, 1 can fruit cocktail, 1 can pineapple, 1 package instant pudding (prepared), 1 can pie filing, 1 container of whipped topping, coconut, nuts. Repeat layers. Decorate top as desired.
