RAISIN SAUCE 
Put in top of double boiler:

1 c. sugar
1 c. water

Bring to a boil and then place over water and add:

1 1/2 c. seeded raisins
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 (8 oz.) glass grape jelly

Cook until jelly is dissolved. Add 2 teaspoons cornstarch which has been dissolved in water. We serve this hot on boiled or baked ham.
