CORNISH HEN WITH HERB BUTTER 
Wash and dry hens (8 birds) thoroughly; salt birds; put one slice of lemon into the cavity after rub each one inside and out. Mix thyme with butter. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes to 1 hour, depending on size of bird basting with pan gravy 2 or 3 times during baking.
