CODFISH CAKES 
1 lb. salt codfish
6 med. potatoes, boiled
1 lg. onion
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. curry powder
Cayenne pepper
1 c. dry bread crumbs
1/2 c. butter
Tomato sauce

Wash cod in warm running water for 5 minutes. Soak in four cups of water overnight to remove salt. Drain, discard water.

Put cod, potatoes and onion through food grinder. Stir in eggs, curry powder and a few grains cayenne pepper. Form into 12 cakes. Dip cakes into crumbs and saute into butter until brown.

Heat tomato sauce and serve with codfish cakes.
