STAINED GLASS COOKIES 
1 (6 oz.; 1 c.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chip pieces
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
3 c. miniature colored marshmallows
1 c. chopped nuts
confectioners sugar

Melt chocolate and butter over low heat in heavy pan; remove from heat. Add egg; mix well. Cool slightly. Mix marshmallows and nuts together in large bowl. Pour chocolate mixture over marshmallows and nuts; mix well. Divide mixture in half.

On wax paper sprinkled with confectioners sugar, shape each half into a roll approximately 8-inches long; pack well together. Wrap rolls up in wax paper and chill several hours on tray in refrigerator. Slice and serve.
