ASPARAGUS WITH TOMATOES - PLUS! 
8 green onions, sliced thin (3/4 c.)
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Water
1 lb. or more fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
3 to 4 med. tomatoes, quartered or 12 cherry tomatoes

In small bowl, mix first 5 ingredients. On a 10 to 12 inch round microwave-safe serving plate, arrange asparagus spoke-fashion with stem ends toward edge of plate and tips overlapping in center. Arrange tomatoes in asparagus. Sprinkle a small amount of water over vegetables then sprinkle the onion mixture over all. Cover (vented) and microwave 4 to 6 minutes. Serve hot or cold.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
