1 cup oil or butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 cups self-rising flour
3 cups chopped fresh apples (Golden Delicious)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

Combine oil, sugar and eggs. Beat well. Add flour and beat thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended. Turn batter into a a greased and floured 13x9 inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes.
