RIZ BISCUITS 
2 1/2 c. Martha White self rising flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. buttermilk
1/3 c. shortening

Dissolve yeast in buttermilk. Cut shortening into flour which has been sifted with soda and sugar. Mix and stir in milk quickly. Knead until smooth. Roll 1/4 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Brush with melted butter. Put 2 together. Place in warm place for 1 hour. Bake in 450 degree oven.
