PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 yellow cake mix (not pudding mixes)
1 can cherry pie filling
1 sm. can crushed pineapple
1 lg. Cool Whip (tub)
6 bananas, ripe
Chopped pecans
Stemmed red cherries

Bake yellow cake mix, let cool; then crumble up half into bottom of punch bowl. Add half a can of cherry pie filling. Drain pineapple, add half can next. Slice 3 bananas and layer. Then add half of Cool Whip. Continue with second layer. Repeating same as first layer. Top with crushed pecans and cherries with stems. Keep cool.
