RICE SALAD WITH STRAWBERRY SAUCE 
1/2 c. uncooked rice
3 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
3 tbsp. water

Bring rice and milk to boil in double boiler until thick. Takes about an hour. Remove from heat. Add sugar, then cool. Add gelatin thinned with 3 tablespoons water. Then add to rice-milk mixture.

Sauce to be used over rice and serve beside rice mold.

2 pkgs. frozen strawberries, thawed
1 c. juice
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar

Boil to make thick. Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Add strawberries.
