PRETZEL SALAD 
9 oz. crushed pretzels
3 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
8 oz. cream cheese
12 oz. Cool Whip
1 c. sugar
1 large box strawberry Jell-O
1 c. boiling water
1 large bag strawberries

First layer: Mix together pretzels, 3 tablespoons sugar and melted butter and save 3 tablespoons crust for garnish.

Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 8 minutes at 400°F.

Second layer: Combine cream cheese, Cool Whip and 1 cup sugar and spread over pretzels.

Third layer: Combine Jell-O, boiling water and strawberries and let gel slightly. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Before serving, garnish with reserved crust mixture.
