1 cup milk 5 tbsp flour 1 cup sugar 1 cup shortening (butter) 1 tsp vanilla Cook milk and flour together in double boiler until thick. Cover and cool. Cream together the sugar and shortening. Add milk/flour mixture and 1 tsp vanilla and beat at top speed of mixer for AT LEAST 20 minutes. Spread on cake. | |
