DINNER ROLLS 
3 1/2 to 4 1/2 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. yeast (or 2 pkgs.)
1 c. milk
1 beaten egg and water to equal 1/2 c.
1/4 c. butter

Mix 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast.

Combine milk and butter and heat in saucepan until very warm (120 to 130 degrees) or in microwave. I use microwave until all butter is melted.

Add to dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes with electric mixer. Add 1/2 cup flour and beat on high 2 minutes. Stir in rest of flour to make a soft dough.

Place in greased bowl and let rise in warm place until double. Shape into approximately 24 rolls. Let rise in greased pans again for 15-20 minutes. Bake at 375 to 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
