MR ED'S TEXAS CHILI | |
2 lb. ground beef 4 tbsp. chili powder 1/2 tbsp. ground cumin 1 tsp. paprika 1 onion, chopped 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 2 tbsp. flour mixed with 1/4 cup warm water 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce and 2 cans water 1 (15 oz.) can red beans 1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes (whole or diced, drained) Brown ground beef and half way through cooking add onion. Stir in tomato sauce and 2 cans water (use empty sauce can). Add rest of the ingredients except cayenne pepper and flour mix. Simmer 30 minutes. Add flour mix and cayenne pepper and simmer for 20 minutes. Submitted by: T. Cox |
