NUT BURGERS 
1/2 lb. cashews, ground in blender
1/2 lb. walnuts, ground in blender
1 c. cooked brown rice
Dash of chili powder, hot sauce, or other seasonings
1 c. grated Colby cheese, or any mild cheese
1 egg
1/2 onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
Flour or bread crumbs
Oil for frying

Mix all ingredients except oil and flour or bread crumbs and season with chili powder, hot sauce or other seasonings. Shape into patties. Roll in flour or bread crumbs. Chill. Fry in hot oil (not deep). (When forming patties, dip hands in cold water before shaping to keep them from sticking to hands.) Serves 4-6.
