2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. applesauce
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar

Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Work in shortening. Add beaten eggs and applesauce. Mix. Dough will be quite thick. Drop dough in greased muffin tins. Bake at 350 degrees. Very good with pork.
