HONEY BREAD 
1 cup honey
1 cup milk
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Beat honey, milk and brown sugar until well blended. Mix together dry ingredients and add to honey mixture.

Pour into a well-greased 5x9-inch loaf pan and bake at 250°F for 2 1/2 hours, or until it tests done with a toothpick.

This can be made in a clean greased coffee can in a slow cooker on low. Cover can with foil and add 2 cups water to bottom of slow cooker.

Yields 1 loaf.
