SOUR CREAM CHEESE CAKE 
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 stick butter
1/2 or 3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
4 tbsp. milk

All ingredients at room temperature. Cream sugar and eggs. Add flour, butter, salt, baking powder and work with pastry wires until crumbly. Add 4 tablespoons milk and work with fingers to form a ball. Refrigerate for a short time.

Line your pan that's greased and floured with dough. Put the dough up on sides and bottom. You can refrigerate for a short time while getting filling ready. Use a 13 x 9 x 2 1/2 inch pan.

FILLING:

4 lg. eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 (16 oz.) sour cream

Beat eggs and sugar. Add vanilla, softened cream cheese, add 1 at a time, beat well. Then add sour cream and beat well. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2 1/2 inch pan on top of your dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Shut the oven off and leave the cake in the stove for 1 hour without opening the door. Remove the cake, put on wire rack and cool. You can refrigerate the cake. Some even freeze it. Enjoy! Good luck!
