POLYNESIAN SPARERIBS 
2 lbs. country style spareribs
1 can crushed pineapple, drain & save juice
2 c. brown sugar (add juice of pineapple to brown sugar & 2 tbsp. soy sauce)

More soy sauce can be used to suit your taste.

Cook ribs in enough water to cover ribs. This is to remove fat. Place spareribs in shallow roasting pan. Pour half syrup over ribs and baste with remaining syrup. Add crushed pineapple about 15 minutes before done. Roast at 350 degrees for approximately 2 1/2 hours.
