CANDIED CARROTS 
2 tbsp. butter
1 (16 oz.) can small whole carrots, drained
2 tbsp. brown sugar
Nutmeg to taste

Melt butter in saucepan. Add carrots. Sprinkle with brown sugar and nutmeg. Simmer, covered for 10 minutes. Cook uncovered for 5 minutes. Longer or until carrots are glazed, stirring frequently.

Yield: 4 servings.
