FRUIT PASTA (FROG EYE SALAD) | |
3/4 c. sugar 3 tbsp. flour 3 eggs, beaten 1 c. Acinidipepe (or the smallest pasta you can buy) 1 c. crushed pineapple, drained and juice save 1 sm. can mandarin oranges, drained 1 c. miniature marshmallows 1 med. size tub Cool Whip In saucepan mix pineapple juice, sugar, flour and eggs. Bring to a boil, then cook until thickened (like a pudding texture). Cool. Cook Acinidipepe pasta in 4 cups of water according to directions on box. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool pasta. Mix pasta and cooled sauce. Add fruit, marshmallows and Cool Whip. Chill. |
