FREEZER COLE SLAW | |
1 head cabbage 3 stalks celery 3 green peppers 3 carrots 1 c. vinegar 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. mustard seed 1 tsp. salt Cut head of cabbage and soak in the sink with the salt. Let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out all water. Put the cabbage, cleaned peppers, celery and peeled carrots into a food processor. Chop fine. Pour into a bowl. Put vinegar, sugar, celery seed and mustard seed in a saucepan and boil for 1 minute. Cool. Pour over cabbage mixture. Put in containers and freeze. |
