1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. butter or bacon drippings

Cook all ingredients together, stirring constantly until thick, then beat in 2 eggs. Cool. If too thick, add a little cream.
