FUDGY OATMEAL BARS 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan.

In large mixer bowl combine and mix well:

2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine and add:

2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Stir in:

3 c. quick oatmeal

Mix well. Reserve 1/3 of the mixture and spread remaining mixture in prepared pan. Spread Fudgy Filling over mixture and drop teaspoonfuls of remaining mixture on top and spread with a fork to flatten mounds. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until golden. Cut into 2 x 1 inch bars. Yield: approximately 70 bars.

FUDGY FILLING:

1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
