CHUCKWAGON BEANS | |
1/4 lb. bacon (fried, save until later) 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1 c. chopped onions 1 c. chopped celery 1 beef bouillon cube and 2/3 c. water, boiling (dissolve together) 4 tbsp. brown sugar 1 1/2 cloves garlic 1 c. catsup 1 1/2 tbsp. mustard 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 sm. cans baked beans Brown hamburger and onions in bacon grease. Add celery, garlic; simmer 5 minutes and add rest of ingredients. Simmer about 30 minutes on top of stove. Crumble fried bacon and sprinkle over beans. |
