I enjoyed this - I used a pack of Bratwurst from Lidl - about 500g and it served two of us very well! It is a good sauce and if I make it again I think I might add a tsp of harissa for a bit more of a kick that's on a different note to the heat of the mustard and horseradish. I served it with savoy cabbage, baton carrots and saute potatoes.

Tangy and spicy at the same time ... sauce would even be perfect for barbecuing chicken on the grill ... I used some beef brats from our local butcher. Unbelievably delicious ...

I wanted to try something different with brats. This was the perfect recipe. The brats were so tender like a meatball and the flavor was very yummy. I don't like the sauce to thick so I used a whole can of beer instead of 1 cup. I sauteed cabbage with butter, boiled potatoes & carrots. I served the mustard sauce over top the vegetable. My family loved this recipe. I highly recommend if your tired of the same old brats.
