1/4 c. real butter
1/2 c. whole milk
1/4 c. flour
2 eggs, beaten
Powdered sugar

butter is too greasy and will not work. Cream is too heavy, skim milk doesn't have enough milk solids.

Melt butter in pie. Mix milk, flour and egg and pour into pie pan and bake until golden. It will rise on sides only. When removed from the oven it will immediately fall. Do not fret, that's its nature. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and fresh fruit or jam. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
