PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
2 sm. pkgs. instant vanilla pudding
1 1/2 c. milk for each box of pudding mix
1 box yellow cake mix
16 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
16 oz. can fruit cocktail, drained
16 oz. can cherry pie filling
2 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Punch bowl

Bake cake as directed on box. Cool. Crumble one layer in punch bowl. Pour 1/2 vanilla mixture over this and 1/2 pie filling. Spread 1/2 pineapple. Add Cool Whip, fruit cocktail and coconut. Repeat the above.

To the basic recipe - try: sliced bananas, decorate with sliced maraschino cherries, chopped pecans.
