WHITE CHRISTMAS FUDGE | |
2 c. sugar 1/2 c. sour cream 1/3 c. light corn syrup 2 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. quartered candied cherries 1 c. nuts Combine sugar, sour cream, corn syrup, butter and salt in heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Boil without stirring over medium heat to soft ball stage. Remove from heat and let stand for 15 minutes. Do not stir. Add vanilla and beat for 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in cherries and nuts and pour into 8 inch greased pan. Cool and cut in squares. |
