3/4 c. butter 1 c. brown sugar 1 egg 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts Cream butter and brown sugar; add egg and beat well. Sift together flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, and salt. Add to butter milk with vanilla and nuts. Chill several hours or overnight. Roll into small balls, dip in sugar and place on cookie sheet. Press down with fork. Makes 6 dozen cookies. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. |
